Posted by Updating based on today’s #s: Another big day – one of the biggest on record for King County. 231 reported infections and 19 deaths. Needless to say, the upward linear regression model wins for the 3rd straight day (predicted 192). Now I’m not surprised that they closed down all the best parks in Seattle.
The polynomial regression model still calls for a dip to come, and for infections to be basically gone in 33 days. I don’t believe it. It looks like we’ve hit a plateau and are going to hover around here for a while.
Polynomial model calls for 155 tomorrow. Linear model predicts 197.
